Margarita Salt with Chipotle Chile

We wanted our Margarita Salt blend to have two qualities: first, a salt that was coarse enough to deliver a wonderful crunch but which dissolved almost instantly on the palate. Second, we wanted an earthy and smoky flavor to complement those found in the finest tequilas. This combination of Cyprus Sea Salt Flakes and freshly-ground chipotle chile fits the bill perfectly.

• Use to rim cocktails
• Sprinkle on meats, seafood, vegetables, and salad as a finishing salt for a salty-smoky flavor
• Top brownies or chocolate cookies before baking for a warm kick and burst of salt
